Longest Marriages in Frederick County

The Marriage Resource Center of Frederick County sponsors

Longest Marriage Contest

We recognize the commitment couples make to work through all the issues they face in their many years of marriage, and who are rewarded with the joy of celebrating a long-term marriage. In celebration of National Marriage Week (February 7-14) which culminates on Valentine’s Day, the Marriage Resource Center of Frederick County is sponsoring a contest to identify the longest married couple in Frederick County. The couple who is chosen for this award will win a free meal at a local restaurant and will be interviewed for local news coverage.

In order to qualify, the couple must presently be living in Frederick County, have been married for over 40 years, and would like to be listed and recognized for their accomplishment. Submit all information by sending an email to chris@marriagefrederick.org. Please include the couple’s names, ages, phone number, address and date of their wedding, along with the number of children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also give us your own name and phone number, so we can contact you with any questions we might have.

Submission deadline: Friday, February 2, 2018

Our winners for 2017 are George and Helen DeLuca who have been married 70 years. They married October 5, 1946. George is 91 and Helen is 90. They have two daughters, 2 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
